David Farland is best known for his epic fantasy Runelords series but he is also known for a middle-grade Ravenspell series. He wrote for the Star Wars series in the late 1990s with The Courtship of Princess Leia. He is also an excellent writing instructor. Dave taught for years in BYU's writing department and has worked as an advisor with a number of authors and have helped a couple of books go big--HARRY POTTER, TWILIGHT, and Brandon Mull's FABLEHAVEN books, among others. He will talk about that, but also talk about what it takes to go big in today's markets.
